Artistic and Cultural Mediation (MAC) as an area of research has emerged in Portugal very recently and therefore it seems relevant to offer a moment of sharing thoughts, between professionals interested in practices and conceptions about culture and art, about the place and role of the action of Artistic Mediation and Cultural as an exercise in social transformation and development. Based on reflections anchored in the production of scientific knowledge, we wish to confront perspectives and consolidate this praxis aimed at building a more democratic, inclusive and sustainable society.

9h20-09h50 EN In this first International Congress on Artistic and Cultural Mediation, we intend to challenge participants to reflect on the professionality of artistic and cultural mediators. October 6th, at 14:30pmAll incoming Erasmus+ students are invited to attend the 1st semester’s welcome session. During the session will be given information about the institution and organization of the courses, by the Erasmus coordinators and Academic services. Newsweek magazine has published a list of 200 Schools Maker globally where the only Portuguese institution that figures there is the Lisbon Polytec The Polytechnic of Lisbon, while, institution of public higher education, within the framework of its mission, has a need for the collection of personal data, being responsible for the treatment of them, under the current legislation.
